Building Strength-Based Pathways in Autism

Raymond Wang was diagnosed with severe autism at age 3–4. Guided by his father Xiaochun Wang, he developed exceptional talents in mathematics, art, music, and writing. Today he holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from UMass Lowell, works as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital, and has invented a novel eye-tracking communication system. His story demonstrates the power of strength-based educational approaches.

Andrew Day was diagnosed with severe ASD (Level 3) at age three. Today Andrew is a talented college student majoring in medical technology, demonstrating strong mathematical reasoning and emotional stability. Their story challenges stereotypes about the future of autism.

Liu Mengyuan, known as the 'Piano Princess of Taiwan,' is an accomplished pianist on the autism spectrum. Their story showcases how a mother's love and relentless dedication helped an autistic child develop extraordinary musical talent.
